We are not going to invent a discount to fill this space. When the shop is running something real, it will be listed here with its terms and its end date, and not before.
How pricing actually works here
You get an estimate in writing before any work begins. That estimate says what we are doing, what parts it needs, and what it comes to. You approve it, or you do not, and either way the car does not get touched until that conversation has happened.
If we open something up and find a second problem, we stop and call you. You will not discover an extra repair on the invoice at pickup. The most common version of this is a brake job where the rotors turn out to be worse than they looked, or a leak that turns out to be coming from somewhere other than the obvious place. Either way you decide.
We use OEM or OEM equivalent parts matched to your vehicle, and we will tell you which one applies to your repair before anything is ordered. If there is a cheaper way to do a job properly, we will say so. If there is a cheaper way that we do not think will hold, we will say that too.
The best value here is not a coupon
Most of what saves money on a car is timing. Brake pads replaced before they take the rotors with them. A coolant leak found while it is a hose. Winter tires booked in October instead of the first week of December when every shop in the region is full. An alignment after pothole season rather than after a new set of tires has already worn on one shoulder.
If you are not sure whether something can wait, call and describe it. We will tell you honestly whether it is a this week problem or a next month one.

Do I get a price before the work starts?
Yes. We inspect the vehicle, tell you what we found, and give you a written estimate. Nothing is done until you say yes to it.
What happens if you find something else once the car is apart?
We stop and call you. A second problem means a second conversation and a revised estimate, not a bigger bill at pickup.
Do you charge to diagnose a problem?
Diagnostic time is real work and is quoted like any other job.
