How a visit actually goes
You tell us what the car is doing. We find the cause, then call and explain it in plain words you could repeat to someone else. You get the price before anyone picks up a wrench.
The order matters. A shop that quotes a repair before it has diagnosed one is guessing, and you pay for the guess. Checking first takes a little longer and usually costs you less.
Nothing gets done without your okay. If we open something up and find a second problem, the work stops and we phone you. You decide what happens next, and doing nothing is a fine answer.
What we work on
Oil changes and tire swaps, right through to engine and transmission work, on every make and model, domestic and import. Diagnosis is done with Snap-on, Mac and OTC scan tools, and we fit OEM or OEM equivalent parts unless you ask for something different.
Some jobs really do belong at the dealer. When yours is one of them, we will tell you.
Booking works around your day, not ours
The shop is open Monday to Friday from 9 to 6. The booking page never closes. Most people notice a grinding brake or a new warning light on the drive home or over the weekend, so that is when booking should work. Pick the service, pick a weekday, add a photo of the warning light if you like, and drop the car off by 9am.
Why being in the east end matters
Blackwell Street sits in the Sheffield Glen industrial area off Innes Road, a short drive from Gloucester, Blackburn Hamlet, Beacon Hill, Alta Vista, Cyrville and Orleans, and close to the 417. From the Quebec side it is a straight run over the Macdonald Cartier bridge.
We are honest about distance too. If you live in Kanata or Barrhaven, that is a cross city drive and a shop near you will probably serve you better.
Ottawa wears cars out in its own way. Road salt eats brake lines and exhaust from underneath. Spring potholes bend rims and knock out the alignment. The first cold snap finds the weak battery you have been nursing since August. Those are the jobs we see most, because this city keeps making them.

Do you work on my make of car?
We service all makes and models, domestic and import. If a job needs a dealer only tool or a manufacturer specific procedure we do not have, we will tell you that instead of guessing at it.
Do you serve Gatineau and Aylmer?
Yes. A Quebec plated car being repaired or maintained at an Ontario shop is completely ordinary. Anything tied to Quebec registration or a Quebec mechanical inspection has to stay on the Quebec side, and we will tell you when that is the case.
